About Us
A community institution for education, culture and social upliftment.
Amruta Foundation is registered under the Indian Trust Act, 1882, and works with the belief that ordinary people working together can change history. The Foundation is promoted by Dr. Abhay Kumar Naik and supported by well-wishers from India and abroad.
Main objectives
- Promotion and advancement of education, particularly girls' education.
- Establishment of educational, cultural, spiritual and social institutions.
- Advancement of Indian culture, literature and services for the benefit of the nation.
- Upliftment of persons with disabilities and underprivileged communities through social security and financial assistance.
- Creation of centres for employment generation and recognition of eminent contributors in education, science, literature and spiritualism.
Brief activities during 2015-25
The Foundation's activities include educational support, social assistance, cultural initiatives and participation in public education programmes.
- Books and financial support for poor and orphan students who are performing well academically.
- Support for orphan students toward education and future livelihood.
- Livelihood support for persons with disabilities through “Sangeet Sandhya,” a Bhajan troupe.
- Champa Mother's Award, Bhagbat Geeta competitions and association with Mo School Abhijan of the Government of Odisha.
